About Us

InSight Creative Workshops came into being on a photo walkabout. Professional photographers and educators Greg Gerla (G1) and Greg Fulmes (G2) decided to bring creative learning experiences to people through community-based workshops. Thus they gave birth to a passion project: InSight Creative Workshops. 

​

G1 and G2 find immense joy in watching their workshop participants renew their creative selves - both personally and professionally.

About InSight Creative Workshops

The two Gs - each with over 30 years as professional photographers and post-secondary educators - saw a gap in how content was delivered. Over coffees (quite a few...and,  yes, it was just coffee!), their dream took shape.

​Highlighting local talent

 

We have such an incredibly talented and diverse creative community in Calgary. We bring you and them together -

either in our Victoria Park studio or virtually (most classes are in-person) for an invigorating and life-changing experience. 

 

Shooting street photography with George Webber, learning Photoshop with Cathy Simone, documenting western life with Leah Hennel, honing your personal vision with Gugenheim winner and National Geographic Explore Jon Lowenstein and so many more.​

ICW offers a vast diversity of workshops (see our Workshops page) for individual learners, can create custom workshops for businesses and can meet with you either in person or virtually to come up with a series of workshops to help you embark on the creative career you have always dreamed of.

 

We also offer workshops in Banff National Park for corporate retreats.
