These inspiring workshops happen regularly, and are facilitated by some of the leading creatives in their fields.

FUJI GFX STREET PHOTOGRAPHY EXPERIENCE

May 9 to 11, 2025

 

This three-day workshop is for advanced amateurs and professionals who are looking to further develop their street and photojournalism abilities.

​

Participants will have the opportunity to use the new Fuji GFX100RF kit for the duration of the workshop. As well, they will receive an autographed copy of George Webber's photography book: 'Borrowed Time - Calgary 1976 to 2019.'

​

The workshop will be led by local photographers George Webber, Greg Gerla, and Greg Fulmes.

​

Spaces are limited: 10 participants + 2 student scholarships

​

Friday: Meet and Greet | 7 to 9 p.m.
Saturday: Lecture and shoot | 9 a.m. to  6 p.m.

Sunday: Lecture, shoot and edit | 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

THIS CREATIVE LIFE - HONING YOUR PERSONAL VISION AND  ARTISTIC PRACTICE

May 14  to 18, 2025

​

This transformative four-day workshop is led by esteemed National Geographic Explorer, photographer and filmmaker Jon Lowenstein. 

​

This hands-on workshop is designed to guide participants through contemporary documentary photography, from linear storytelling to conceptual approaches, enabling them to confront pressing issues with their unique artistic vision. 

 

Attendees will shoot with Lowenstein in the field while also receiving personalized critiques to refine their own vision.

​

Spaces are limited: 10 participants + 1 student scholarship

Wednesday: Meet and Greet | 7 to 9  p.m.

Thurs to Sat: Lecture and shoot | 8 a.m. to  5 p.m.

Sun: Editing & project presentation | 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Wrap party | 5 to 7ish p.m
